Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Accountant to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks including tax accounting, reconciliations, and supporting the monthly and annual closing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform bank reconciliations regularly.
· Assist in tax audits and filing tax returns.
· Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
· Prepare GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B on a monthly basis.
· Handle TDS calculation, payments, and quarterly filings.
· Conduct branch reconciliations on a monthly basis.
· Possess working knowledge of income tax provisions and applications.
· Maintain accurate and organized general ledger records.
· Generate and interpret financial accounting statements.
· Use accounting software proficiently, especially TALLY.
· Demonstrate advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
· Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or any related discipline (mandatory).
· Minimum 2 years of experience in general or tax accounting.
· Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
· Familiar with Tally ERP and other accounting software.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Highly organized, responsible, and presentable in a professional setting.
