Job Summary:
As an Accountant, you analyse financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Oracle Project Module closure, ensure revenue and cost accuracy, review of sales recognition basis Inco-terms.
POC revenue recognition process on a monthly basis like working with planning & Project team to ensure accuracy in EAC, Actual Cost, Margin analysis of POC Jobs.
Margin Analysis of Customer Jobs on a weekly basis and also started analyzing planned shipments to ensure accuracy in Forecast. Also, LCM analysis for Loss Jobs.
Working with Project Engineering , Project Mgt and service and warranty team to capture the hours spent on various Jobs for Absorption.
Works with Warranty to team to project and validate specific Warranties, works with Project team to ensure accuracy in Liquidated damages.
Support to Internal, Statutory Audits, uploading reconciliations in Blackline and adhoc reporting requirements needed as and when.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholders.
Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Basic knowledge and experience using ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP) is an advantage.
Keen on building positive relationships.
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
Flexibility and ability to cope with process changes.zB.Com or ICWA inter / CA Inter in relevant field for 3-5 years relevant experience
