Position description: Identify trends, seek public market and competitive company’s information, benchmarking our operations and making recommendations for improvements and optimization.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform Accounts Receivable tasks including – cash application, invoicing and collections, journal entries, account reconciliations etc.
• Partner with all teams, BU's and stakeholders
• Ensure adherence with financial controls
• Support implementation and maintenance of processes and system solutions
• Team player willing to take on ad-hoc requests
• Ensuring timely entry of transactions including but not limited to processing of vendor invoices and payments in the necessary accounting application
• Ensuring proper record keeping of the necessary documents for the various transactions
• Manage reporting on the various transactions as may be necessary
• Liaise with external agencies as may be required for dealing with the various accounting, auditing, taxation and record keeping matters
• Having good knowledge in Accounts payable & Invoice Booking/GST/TDS/Costing/Trial Balance till finalization
• Should be aware of Fund flow management and cashflow management
• Should have working knowledge AP function from statutory Audit closure point of view
• Strong communicator - both oral and written
• preferably a CA inter or a qualified chartered accountant
