Job Position: Accountant

Purpose of the Job-
1. To ensure all financial accounting is accurate and up to date, and reconciliations of the general ledger and sub ledgers are maintained.
2. Supporting the company’s commercial team - in maximizing their strategic investment for growth through performance management, decision support, developing business models, strategy formulation and putting strategy into action
Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities
1. Ensuring accurate and proper financial accounting with proper checks, scrutiny and reconciliation of the general ledger, sub-ledgers, fixed asset register, balance sheet schedules and related reports using the current system
2. Management and financial reporting for the business to ensure that information requirements are met in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
3. Monthly P&L and balance sheet reports and forecasts
4. Ensuring adequate controls are in place across the business
5. Ensuring adherence to, and compliance with, direct and indirect tax laws and filing requirements, including payroll
6. Stores Administration- Ordering, Delivery & Inventory Management
7. Billing, Revenue And Receivables Management
8. Contributing to cost management and control
+. Making GSTR Report and return
Person Specification/Job Requirements
1. Accounting and Professional Accounting qualification
2. Up to 2-3 years post qualifying experience, preferably with FMCG company
3. Strong accounting fundamentals and good knowledge of tax issues
4. Good analytical skills and commercial awareness
Desired Skills:
1. Experience using accounting software and reporting systems
2. Advanced excel skills
3. Telly ERP +
4. Resilient and able to challenge
5. Good communication skills
