Position :- Corporate Finance - Senior Manager
About the role :- This role is for an experienced finance manager with prior experience in Startups. Ideally a qualified CA with CA/CS experience. Minimum 5 years of prior experience.
Can handle all aspects of financial management, including
1) Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
2) Research technical accounting issues for compliances
3) Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
4) Manage day-to-day accounting function and build out the team as we scale
5) Cashflow: Manage payments and cash flow forecasting to optimize and meet regularly with the CEO to discuss this
6) Estimate the runway based on the projected expenses and financial planning-
7) Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
8) Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
+) corporate accounting,
10) regulatory and financial reporting,
11) budget and forecasts preparation,
12) MIS and investor reporting, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures
13) Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
14) Tracking of key business metrics for internal and investor reporting
15) Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements & MIS
16) Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
17) Play an active role in due diligence process for Debt and equity funding
18) Demonstrates strong management skills, escalates issues/roadblocks on a timely basis, and manages stakeholders with good written and verbal communication skills.
1+) Participating in budgeting processes
What we're looking for:-
1) Master's degree in accounting or equivalent / Qualified CA- Proven experience in finance management
2) Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills
3) Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
4) Auditing experience and Compliance oriented
5) Proficiency in accounting software
6) Strong numerical skills and understanding of basics of financial reporting - P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements and have exposure to business modelling.
7) Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues effectively and efficiently to senior management. Communicates with crisp, persuasive written and verbal skills and is effective and comfortable in a variety of presentation settings.
8) Experience in developing and using Excel-based models, conducting financial and statistical analysis, process design, negotiations, hypotheses development, decision option identification and problem solving.
+) Should have worked in a Corporate Finance or Business Strategy Role.
10) Experience in advisory/consulting , PE / VC interactions, due diligence, supporting new business initiatives is preferred.
