Client Details
Client is a well established Petrochemical organization based in Mumbai.
Description
• Perform variance, cost, profit and trending analysis.
• Ensure direct and indirect tax returns are prepared and filed in accordance with the local law and statutes.
• Lead and manage statutory audit, tax and transfer pricing reporting. Liaise with auditors and tax agents and ensuring filing time lines are met.
• Monitor finance and tax related regulatory changes. Implement required system and process changes as appropriate.
• Interface and work with external consultants, interpret / challenge viewpoints based on business knowledge.
• Provide advisory and support projects where expertise is required.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities. Other ad hoc requests and support as required.
• Oversee month-end closing processes and ensuring compliance with local and group reporting requirements
• Oversee day to day accounting - AP, AR, GL.
Profile
• Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of accounting and tax experience.
• Good knowledge of India accounting and tax standards, relevant laws and regulations.
• A responsible team player with good communication, follow-up and inter-personal skills.
• Able to lead and coach team member.
• Proactive and willing to engage colleagues in other functions and countries to resolve issues and prepared to take on new challenges.
• Indutry- Any Manufacturing set up
