Job Description – Accountant
About the Position
We are seeking energetic Accounting Executive to join our growing team at our office in Indore, India. The Accounting Executive will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

Responsibilities Include
• Oversee the accounting requirements of all group companies
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations
• Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes
• Prepare budgets and forecasts, and analyze financial performance
• Collaborate with the senior management team to support decision-making and drive the company's financial strategy
• Communicate financial information to stakeholders and provide regular financial reports and analysis
• Assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy.

• Sound and proven working knowledge of accounting practices and principles
• Knowledge and prior exposure to international entities, foreign currency, and inter-company transactions
• Extensive knowledge tax legislative requirements locally, and in international jurisdictions
Desired Candidate Profile
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting executive role.
• Candidates with knowledge of Zoho Books will be preferred.
Qualifications
• Should be a Graduate or Postgraduate in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
