Job Description
• Review Payroll entries that are populated via Inova payroll software.
• Review and balance Daily hotel activity entry that is generated via the interface between accounting software and hotel PMS system.
• Record bank statement journal entry
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Make adjusting and accrual entries as necessary.
• Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP Respond
• Ensure Cash deposits are made timely and cash and credit card deposit matches with PMS revenue.
• Reconcile BS accounts including Guest ledger and city ledger AR accounts.
• Review P&L by comparing to budget and prior period to identify expenses over budget, unusual activity and duplicates.
• Assist in End of Year Audit Preparations
• Reporting and other tasks as needed and assigned.
• Ability to Multi-task and Prioritize Tasks
• Work Independently
• Punctual
• Team player and organized.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of team members.
• Certificate course or a degree in accounting
• 1+ year work experience preferable but not required.
• Proficient with Microsoft excel and word.
• Public Accounting experience preferable
