About Us:
We at Adastra Jewelry are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing timely financial reports to aid in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Balance and Maintain Accurate Ledgers: Record all financial transactions accurately and maintain organized and up-to-date ledgers.
• Petty Cash Management Responsible for managing petty cash, ensuring receipts are appropriately recorded, and reconciling the petty cash account.
• MIS Report Preparation: Generate and prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
• CA Data Submission: Collaborate with external Chartered Accountants (CA) to provide them with the necessary financial data and ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines.
• Reconciliations: Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure accuracy.
• Purchase Order Matching: Match purchase orders with invoices to verify the accuracy of billing and resolve discrepancies.
• Bank Deposits: Coordinate bank deposits and provide regular financial updates and reports to senior management.
• Export Formalities: Work with the bank to handle export-related financial formalities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Expense Monitoring: Monitor and control office expenses, tally and enter receipts, and recommend cost-saving measures where applicable.
• Financial Statement Development: Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow statements, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
• Tax Compliance: Manage and oversee GST, TDS, TCS, and other relevant tax registrations, filings, and compliance.
May need to do some administration work from time to time.
EXPERIENCE
• 2 years of GST and TDS filing
• Must know Tally thoroughly
• Well-versed with MS Office
• Decent English: Written
