Job Description:
As a Accountant at Enerinfra Private Limited, you will play a critical role in managing the financial health of the organization. You will be responsible for a range of accounting and financial tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all financial operations. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and a degree in commerce or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform monthly and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax and VAT/GST.
• Monitor and manage the company's financial transactions and budgets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
• Participate in financial audits and ensure accurate documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant, Preferably in Oil & Gas Pipeline Construction company.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
