Job Description : Accountant
Position : Accountant
Location : Kurla, Mumbai
Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or similar field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Tally ERP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with vendors and clients
• Knowledge of GST (Goods and Services Tax) regulations and procedures
• Familiarity with TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) rules and compliance requirements
Job Responsibilities :
• Manage financial transactions and records using Tally ERP software
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, statements, and ledgers
• Process invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with vendors and clients regarding financial matters, including GST and TDS implications
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial audits, ensuring compliance with GST and TDS regulations
• Stay updated on GST and TDS laws, regulations, and best practices
Skills and Abilities :
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
• Ethical conduct and integrity in handling confidential information
