About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as an Accountant. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting tasks including but not limited to bookkeeping, preparing financial statements,
reconciling accounts, and supporting team members in other financial functions.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries, general ledger entries, and. account reconciliations.
Utilize Tally software to perform routine accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and journal entries.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Support financial audits by providing documentation, explanations, and analyses as required.
Analyze and interpret financial data to identify risks and opportunities and make recommendations for improvement.
Assist in the preparation of presentation of financial statements for board meetings, investor relations, and external stakeholders
Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in finance and accounting.
Requirements:
CA Inter or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role.
Fresher to 2 years of experience (3 years maximum) in finance (Fintech industry advantage)
Proficiency in accounting software - Tally.
Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance like GST, TDS and Other relevant laws
Proactive mindset with the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and drive results.
