Role Overview
As an Accounts Executive at Little Angels, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial systems. You will oversee all financial transactions and maintain an up-to-date understanding of the company's financial position on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Coordination: Liaise with various departments for daily financial activities.
Transaction Verification and Entry: Verify all tally entries from the factory team and update them in the master file. Ensure daily updates on payments payable and receivable, generating daily reports.
Sales, Purchase, and Journal Entries: Record daily sales, purchase, and journal entries.
Purchase Orders and Invoices: Coordinate with departments to obtain and release purchase orders and invoices, maintaining department-wise budgets.
Petty Cash Management: Review and manage petty cash at the factory and office.
Online Sales Coordination: Work with the online sales team to manage payments from online portals, follow up on payments with buyers or agencies.
Online Sales Reckoner: Maintain the online sales reckoner, compile monthly sales and returns data, and manage paperwork for all vendors and parties.
Report Generation and Record Maintenance: Generate reports, create vouchers for weekly payments, prepare reports on outstanding payments and receipts, and manage the weekly payment cycle.
Salary Processing: Calculate and process employee salaries, maintain financial reports such as cash flow, and coordinate with online sales consultants for GST and payment updates.
Employee Records Management: Maintain paperwork for new hires and terminated employees, including all exit formalities.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Record, analyze, and present data at various intervals, including monthly GST filing, creating reports for online and offline processes, generating E-waybills in emergencies, and producing monthly and quarterly reports.
Professional Tax Filing: File PT (Professional Tax).
Quarterly Reports: Provide quarterly reports to a Chartered Accountant for PL (Profit and Loss) and balance sheet preparation.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with entries.
Product Performance Reports: Create product performance reports based on data from the warehouse, B2C (business-to-consumer) sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales, and returns.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Finance or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience in the e-commerce industry is an added advantage.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, ownership, time management, financial analysis skills, self-motivation, results orientation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
