Responsibilities
As the Director of Accounting, you will assume a pivotal role as a strategic leader within our organization
Your primary responsibilities will encompass ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operational accounting, overseeing timely month-end closure and reporting, and establishing a robust internal control framework
Your strategic guidance will drive process enhancements, elevate service delivery, and ensure compliance by leveraging integrated technology
Moreover, you will collaborate closely with other finance stakeholders to manage cash forecasting and financial modeling initiatives
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, setting clear performance objectives and guiding team members toward achievement through collaborative management practices
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial records, reports, and transactions, staying abreast of accounting standards and financial reporting changes
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance
Oversee credit and collections processes, manage overdue accounts, and collaborate with legal teams on collections matters
Analyze monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and drive process improvements to enhance cash flow
Establish a finance process and systems strategy, championing efficiency, data accuracy, compliance, and governance
Oversee coordination of Audit Committee meetings and materials
