What You’ll Do
We are looking for a Staff Accountant who will be responsible for executing all accounting, payroll, and administrative operations for their assigned clients. Operations are completely cloud based and you will work in multiple software platforms that integrate with the general ledger. Your work will directly support each client’s operations, empower their decision-making, and inform long-term business planning.
Responsibilities
• Execute all client accounting workflows on a weekly basis. This includes transaction entry, accounts payable management, and expense report management.
• Execute all client payroll workflows on their established pay frequency.
• Complete the month-end close and reporting processes for each client monthly by the established deadlines.
• Complete all fiscal yearend processes for each client annually by the established deadlines.
• Oversee all new client cleanup work ensuring the work is completed by the deadline provided.
• Create and maintain client standard operating procedures for each assigned client.
You Bring
• 3+ years of accounting experience working in client accounting services or private industry.
• CPA designation.
• An ability to build and maintain accounting schedules in Excel / Google Sheets.
• Forensic accounting skills – able to execute complex accounting cleanup projects and balance accounts with high transaction volumes.
• Experience with cloud accounting software and an understanding how integrations map to the general ledger.
• Strong math skills.
• Process obsession - always seeking to develop, improve, and follow processes in their work.
• An enjoyment of consistent and repetitious work.
• A desire to be to learn new things and be coached.

Compensation
You should reasonably expect a base salary of $70,000 - $100,000. In addition, we offer a complete benefits package and the opportunity of an annual performance bonus.
