Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team at Giri Media Services Pvt Ltd, a leading advertising agency. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Zoho Books for accounting purposes and will be responsible for managing our organization's financial activities, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, and foreign currency transactions using Zoho Books.
- Prepare and process invoices, sales orders, bills, and purchase orders.
- Perform manual journal entries and base currency adjustments as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filing, auditing, and compliance.
- Collaborate with the management team to analyze financial data and provide insights for business decisions.
- Maintain and update financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Manage and reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash flow management.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting financial activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an advertising agency or similar industry.
- Proficiency in Zoho Books, including its accountant module.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using AI tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, CMA).
- Experience with other accounting software, such as QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of inventory management and CRM integration.
