Essential Functions:
• Lead month-end tasks and identify and prepare journal entries for assigned area.
• Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
• Ensure financial statements are accurate.
• Apply generally accepted accounting principles.
• Provide guidance to the field on accounting matters.
• Identify, explain, and communicate variances and the drivers behind them.
• Perform trend and account analysis, reconcile balance sheet accounts, prepare journal entries, and prepare PBC schedules.
• Assist with external and SOX audits.
• Provide exceptional customer services to internal customers.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience
• Ability to effectively work with different management levels and personalities.
• Skills in relationship-building, teamwork, and collaboration.
• Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and a continuous improvement mind-set.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
• Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
• Working knowledge of general office equipment.
• Ability to prioritize projects and execute and deliver key objectives in a timely manner under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
