Job Title: Accountant
Location: Rajkot City
Company Overview:
We are a dynamic and fast-growing company engaged in the manufacturing, retail, and distribution of toys and games. Our operations span across various group companies, requiring meticulous accounting and financial management. We are seeking a young and energetic Accountant to join our team, preferably a female candidate, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts for different group companies, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
2. Calculate and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw material expenses, labor costs, and overheads, to facilitate informed decision-making and cost optimization.
3. Handle HR functions such as payroll management, professional tax computation, gratuity calculations, and other employee-related financial matters.
4. Ensure compliance with GST regulations by accurately filing returns and managing GST-related documentation and records.
5. Manage billing processes efficiently, including invoice generation, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
6. Perform reconciliations for various sales channels, including retail, wholesale, online, distribution, and manufacturing, to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
7. Conduct inventory audits and implement effective inventory management practices to optimize stock levels and minimize losses.
8. Assist in financial reporting activities, including preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, to support strategic planning and decision-making.
+. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
10. Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment.
3. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. Proactive attitude, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative.
