Job Summary:. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 -4 years of accounting experience and possess in-depth knowledge of Tally software. The position is based in Mumbai, and preference will be given to candidates who reside in or around Navi Mumbai
Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records using Tally software.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Handle tax-related matters, including GST calculations and filing.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Stay updated with the latest accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.
Requirements
Hand on experience in shipping and logistics accounts
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant.
Strong proficiency in Tally software.
Knowledge of Indian accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.,
