We are looking for an ambitious Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.
Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the accountants day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
• Daily Bank reconciliation, bill entry, books maintaining in backoffice software.
• Maintain daily accounts and Petty cash for day to day requirement and assist the Accounts Manager in accounting activities
• Open requisite bank accounts and do necessary transactions
• Allocation and segregation of clients fund on daily basis
• Filing of online TDS/Service Tax/GST Returns.
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Checking of Interest received on FDR on regular basis and reconciles the same with 26 AS of Income Tax in presence of Audit.
• Ensuring properly deduction and timely deposit of all statutory dues like TDS, Professional Tax, Provident Fund, ESIC, Stamp Duty etc.
• Assist in preparing of Compliance related data as and when required by Auditor/exchanges.
• Strong liasioning with all departments and verification of banking entry at client level.
• To keep backoffice system in line with regulatory statements and proper track of the same
• Retention of clients fund
Candidate Must Have
• Graduate / Post Graduate (Finance/ Accounts) or min. 02 years of experience in accounts at stock broking company
• Must be knowing Tally and accounting
• Good Knowledge of different Margins of segment
• Prior working with stock broker/AP or regulatory knowledge will be added advantage.
