Primarily, our goal is to lift the standards of the Electrotechnology industry, provide a voice and lobby for the rights and interests of our members, while delivering critical information to ensure that our members remain in front of changes that may affect the Industry.


ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is primarily responsible for managing the Company’s bank reconciliation process, customer receipting, collections and accounts receivables reporting. Other responsibilities include supporting the Finance team with daily and month end journal posting, financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations and other finance related tasks.

This is a full time role, 38 hours per week and is based in Chullora NSW. This role offers two working from home days upon successful completion of training.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall responsibility for the Group’s Bank Reconciliation Process
Debtors collection and reporting
Customer Receipting
Assist the finance team where required to produce accurate and timely financial performance reports
Provide support to the finance team
Daily Bank Reconciliation
Daily customer receipting
Collections
Allocation of customer receipts
Posting of customer receipts to the General Ledger
Trust account customer receipting (Leap)
Month end finance support to the Finance Business Partners
Month end general ledger journals posting
Month end Fixed Asset process run
Assisting with year-end audits when required
Assist with ad-hoc projects when required
Other relevant duties as directed

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated skill in working as part of a team, fostering good client relations and working with people from diverse backgrounds
Ability to deal with difficult clients
Discretion and confidentiality
Experience working with NAV would be advantageous
