Job Description
The Peninsula London seeks an Accountant - Accounts Payable to join the Finance Team. This role will be instrumental in successfully creating a seamless and paperless Account Payable function through cutting-edge technology, positioning The Peninsula London and its Finance Team as leaders in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
Supervises all aspects of the Peninsula London Accounts Payable, including managing the reconciliation of invoices vs. purchase orders and received items, timely weekly and monthly payments of such invoices, payment reconciliation and monthly preparation of accruals.
Cross-trains with other Senior Accountants to ensure smooth coverage of all functions during holidays.
Collaborates with Operations Cost Controller and Purchasing Manager to analyze requirements for variable costs, ensuring high level of details and understanding of expense trends within the property for all departments.
Requirements
3 years accounting experience in hospitality-residential environment and supervisory experience
Understanding of various Accounting Functions. Extensive experience in Accounts Payable with ability to manage complex tax and contractual environment.
High level of integrity, detail oriented with strong organizational and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
