Role Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations and ensure accurate reporting for reputed educational institutions across India. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Managing day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, and financial records.
Preparing and maintaining ledgers, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
Handling accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, taxation, and audit processes.
Monitoring budgets, expenses, and financial planning for institutions.
Coordinating with auditors, vendors, and management teams for smooth financial operations.
Using accounting software (Tally/QuickBooks/Zoho or similar) to maintain accuracy and transparency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant, Accounts Executive, or in a similar finance role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Experience in the education sector will be preferred.
