Job Description
In this postion you will be the subject matter expert for IFRS to ensure compliant interpretation and implementation of reporting and consolidation guidelines.
Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS for the Home Comfort subgroup.
Oversee the consolidation process including intercompany eliminations, capital/debt consolidation, profit elimination and recognition of subgroup items for the Home Comfort subgroup.
Stay updated on changes in IFRS accounting standards. Implement and interpret IFRS Bosch Group guidelines for the Home Comfort subgroup and ensure compliance in the consolidation process.
Take full responsibility for a set of IFRS standards for the Home Comfort subgroup. Review and approve material journal entries.
Serve as the main contact for auditors and internal departments across all Home Comfort companies, both national and international in own area of responsibility.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in the consolidation and reporting process. Implement best practices and enhancements to streamline consolidation activities.
Optimize the consolidation system to support efficient consolidation processes.
Collaborate with the Finance and IT teams to implement best practices and enhancements to streamline consolidation activities.
Provide technical accounting guidance to the HC finance community for IFRS.
Assist with projects focused on IFRS financial reporting and consolidation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business administration or related field.
5+ years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position
Strong IFRS accounting knowledge
Strong understanding and experience working with consolidation tools ((e.g., OneStream, Hyperion Financial Management, SAP BCS, S/4 Group Reporting), SAP-FI, MS Office (esp. Excel).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with affinity for financial IT tools
