Job Title: Invoicing Specialist
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling invoicing procedures and communicating with customers regarding invoices. They will also assist in responding to customer queries and coordinating information between various teams.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the billing process, including creation of billing documents in SAP and submission of invoices to customers.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to invoices and coordinate information between Sales Operations, Sales Tax, and Collection teams.
• Participate in cross-functional training and onboarding activities related to revenue accounting, billing, and revenue accounting close process.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving and standardizing the billing process.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a relevant field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in invoicing, preferably in the software industry.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• High motivation and hands-on approach, willing to delve into details.
• Strong problem-solving attitude.
• Experience working with ERP systems and/or Revenue Accounting modules.
• Advanced Excel skills, including v-lookup and pivot tables.
• Prior experience with SAP, RAR, and customer portal invoice submission, specifically for Government Contracts and resolving customer issues.
