Job Description
Title: Accountant
Day to day:
• Basic Knowledge of how the does AP function work
• General-ledge accounting for PTC entity especially India
• Booking of general and sub-ledge of Balance Sheets and P&L accounts.
• Prepare account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with company polices and internal controls, including SOX requirements
• Interaction with cross-functions teams
• Work with cross region and functional teams on global finance projects and initiatives
• Potential/opportunities to work in accounting areas which are more challenging or more technical
• Assisting annual statutory audit and tax filing
• Ad-hoc projects
Skills and knowledge:
• 2-3 years working experiences in GL accounting
• Oracle or NetSuit experience is preferred
• Logical problem solving and analytical skills
• Advanced excel skills
• Experience with a top tier international accounting firm is a plus
• Fluent in both verbal and written English
Basic qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to work under pressures to meet deadlines
• Good at teamwork and communication, attention to details and willing to continuously learn
• Independent, self-motivated and result-oriented
