Aurassure, a leading environmental technology company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the role will involve handling customs, export, and import-related activities, as well as utilizing Zoho Books accounting software for effective financial management.
Responsibilities:
• Financial Transactions: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in recording financial data.
• General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Month-end and Year-end Closing: Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all financial transactions are appropriately recorded.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Audit Support: Assist in financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop and track budgets and financial forecasts.
• Expense Management: Monitor and analyze expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending improvements.
• Customs, Export, and Import: Handle customs clearance, export, and import-related documentation and compliance.
• Zoho Books: Utilize Zoho Books accounting software to manage financial records and transactions.
• Vendor and Customer Management: Maintain relationships with vendors and customers' accounts team and manage accounts receivable and payable effectively.
• Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.
• Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, as well as external regulatory requirements.
• Payroll Processing: Process payroll and related tasks accurately and on time.
