Overview
Sym Quest, a Konica Minolta company currently has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist!
Nurture Leasing Company relationships and provide clear communication and negotiation regarding billing concerns. Improve the quality of the Sym Quest Group's billing through researching problems and presenting solutions. Manage Leasing Accounts Receivable resulting in keeping +0% of the total aging under 60 days.
Responsibilities
Major Goals & Responsibilities:
• Daily Lease Account Reconciliations and posting Cash Accordingly
• Follow up with Leasing Vendors for past due invoices and billing discrepancies
• Review and Audit Lease and Service billing
• Work closely with Admin Team for research on Aging Items
• Be proficient in the billing system (currently: Metrix) and financial system (currently: Microsoft GP Dynamics);
• Produce a weekly aging and distribution to the Division Accounting Manager
• Initiate and participate in phone calls and e-mail communication necessary to collect past due monies
Essential Activities:
• 40% Internal Research, QA and Aging Analysis— Lease Vendors and Admin Team
• 35% Cash posting and account reconciliation
• 25% Leasing Co contact (telephone, e-mail, fax)

• Customer Service or Collection Call experience
• Equivalent work experience

Toughest Part of Job:
Quality Assurance — working with the Leasing Companies to identify payment discrepancies and navigating internally to set expectations to achieve timely outcomes. Less than 10% of past due accounts are related to cash flow, most others are due to improper expectations or errors in service rendered or billing accuracy.
