Overview:
ElitAire is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. As an Accountant with ElitAire, you will play a crucial role in department-level accounting, working closely with senior management to drive strategic decision-making. Responsibilities:
• Maintain a precise general ledger and review financial statements for accuracy
• Craft informative reports that empower senior management in strategic decision-making
• Track and record transactions across multiple departments
• Assist in the implementation of new software, including potential data entry tasks
• Excel in a highly collaborative environment and be proactive in identifying and improving inefficient processes
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or 5 years' experience in accounting/finance
• Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting/finance
• Percent complete revenue recognition experience; preferred
• Strong problem-solving aptitude with the ability to make informed decisions
• Eye for improving inefficient processes
• A driven and team-player attitude with strong communication skills
• Willingness to take on projects and tasks in a small business setting
• Thorough knowledge and demonstrated skills in matters related to accounting policy and procedures
• Exposure to MS Teams and MS Office suite of products with proficiency in Excel
• Acumatica ERP knowledge; preferred
• Experience using an ERP platform highly desirable
