JD for Financial Accountant:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cash flow statements.
• Managing the general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking and intercompany reconciliations.
• Completion of the monthly accruals, journals, fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Weekly cash flow reporting and controlling expenditure.
• Drive outstanding collection & On time vendor payment.
• Provision Accounting & Cost optimization.
• Reconciliation of Financial accounts & Inter company accounting.
• Tax compliance & Return filing – both domestic & international.
• Management Reporting & Presentation.
• Managing foreign currency payments.
• Preparation and filing of GST, Payroll review and processing.
• Internal auditing of year end statutory accounts.
• Creating KPI reports.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensuring Accounting standards and policies are adhered to.
• Reporting consolidated results at a group level.
• International reporting for global entities (e.g. US GAAP, IFRS).
• Knowledge in FEMA.
• Prepare & file statutory compliances(PF,ESI,TDS etc).
• Training and mentoring junior staff.
• Liaison with external Auditors, Bank Managers and Tax specialists.
• Assisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives.
• Proactively identify new initiatives that could benefit the organisation.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
• 1 - 3 years of experience in a finance department of a SaaS based company.
• Experienced in a Chartered Accounting firm can be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Tally ERP software and Zoho-books.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work within stipulated timelines and take ownership of tasks assigned.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision.
• Must be highly organized & disciplined.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Commerce graduate - CA Inter or equivalent
