About The Firm
Our client is seeking an ambitious qualified or part qualified accountant with audit experience to join an expanding team.
You will work alongside award winning, industry recognised experts who will give you access to exciting tax cases and support with your ongoing career development.
About The Role
Joining as a qualified or part qualified accountant with audit experience, you will be providing audit, advisory and compliance services to a portfolio of clients, operating across various industries.
About The Opportunity
The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in Accounts and Audit and will be responsible for providing expert advice to our diverse portfolio of clients within the firm. You will be expected to work as a team member and also independently. You will develop your supervisory skills and use your expertise for all stages of accounts and audit, from planning through to completion. Their audit approach includes ongoing contact with clients throughout the year.
Responsibilities Include
Prepare statutory accounts for smaller clients from the clients trial balance.
Full responsibility of all stages of an audit from planning through to completion
Maintaining regular contact with clients
Use cloud based software for audit and assurance exercises
Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
About The Applicant
PQ ACCA/ACA
Have over 2 years practice experience
Numerate with strong IT skills.
An excellent communicator with good verbal and written English skills
Self-driven, results-oriented, and with a positive outlook
Able to visit the other company offices and at clients sites when necessary
Experience with Xero accounting software is advantageous
