Data Entry experience
High School Diploma is required
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Responsibilities
As a Data Entry and Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for entering and verifying alphanumeric and numeric data, as well as handling various accounting tasks
Enter and verify alphanumeric and numeric data from a variety of sources, including paper-based, electronic, and phone, into a computer database
Handle complex functions or transactions, including priority accounts or transactions that require error-free work
Resolve problems related to correct data entry procedures but may have to refer unusual problems to the manager
Code, search, extract, and interpret information to determine the correct input procedure
Coordinate the workflow of other operators
Maintain financial records by accurately recording day-to-day financial transactions
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues
Generate financial reports and statements
Assist with month-end closing activities
Perform general accounting duties such as account payable/receivable, payroll, and expense reports
