Responsibilities
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to handle the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accurate tracking of assets, liabilities, profits, losses, and tax obligations
Support cost accounting functions and related tasks on behalf of our client
Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including:
Balancing bank accounts and managing bank inquiries
Reconciling payroll, accounts receivable, and various Balance Sheet items
Oversee the processing and verification of invoices related to accounts payable, ensuring correct allocation to the appropriate accounts
Assist external auditors by providing the necessary financial information and documentation to facilitate the annual audit process
Liaise with software vendors and consultants to maintain and upgrade accounting software systems, suggesting enhancements where necessary
Stay current with accepted accounting principles and procedures
Perform additional duties as needed
