Project Green Hands (PGH), the environmental branch of Isha, has grown out of a deep concern for the global effects of deforestation and land degradation. PGH wants Tamil Nadu to be a beacon of environmental responsibility, illustrating what is possible when people take action now to save their environment.
AYUSH-Isha Organic Health Systems is a pioneering project launched by Isha Outreach in collaboration with the government of India's AYUSH department. The holistic programs are aimed at improving the health of the rural population, while simultaneously ensuring a model of sustainable healthcare.
