Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and financial records.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to church leadership.
Support audits and provide necessary documentation for financial reviews.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and resource allocation.
Maintain accurate records of donations and contributions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a relevant financial role (preferably in a non-profit or church setting).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of church financial operations and budget management.
Familiarity with fundraising and donation tracking systems.

Pay: $80,25+.+2-$84,357.8+ per year
