Accountant - Cost Accounting at Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Accountant - Cost Accounting/Financial Analyst Our Idaho Falls site is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their team As part of our Accounting team, you will be responsible for wearing many hats to support cost accounting, billing, general ledger, financial statements, and reporting. SyteLine experience is preferred. + Costs reports processing & reviews for accuracy, discrepancies, trends analysis. + Financial reporting support as needed (to include support of the monthly closure process, and review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts) + Participate in SOX testing and various month-end close tasks (to include variance analysis and month end close responsibilities) + Financial reporting support including the running of reports, designing and development of new reports, analysis, and data conversion. What You Bring: + Due to the nature of work performed at this site, incumbents must be a U.S. Person. + Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance. + 0-2 years of related experience. + Information systems, and database query experience is a plus. + Experience in data mining to report, analyze and interpret financial and operating data. + Experience in performing variance analysis and month end close responsibilities. + Ability to understand complex mathematical calculations. + Strong background in Microsoft Office suites such as Excel, Word. + Federal contract compliance (CAS and FAR) experience is preferred.
