Background:
JSS is an NGO implementing “Vocational Training Project” on sustainable economic empowerment model for unemployed youth in 11 blocks of Puri district in Odisha.
Position:
Accountant cum Cleark is a key position and calls for strong leadership and ability to multi-task with a passion to work with a team and communities in the whole Puri district.
Qualification & Experience::
Applicant would have passed Bachelor in Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting (Hons.)
He/she belongs to Puri of Odisha only (Knowledge about localities is must).
Experience in NGO accounting for minimum 5 years.
Payment:
Remuneration for the position would be Rs. 17,000/- per month (Consolidated).
Location:
Place of posting will be district office at Puri and will report to the Director.

Job Description of Accountant cum Clerk:
Maintain Books of accounts in Tally version +.0-ERP.
Ensure strict compliance to finance guidelines of the project/ Organization.
Verification of all transactions for bills, authorization etc. prior to payments.
Maintain cash book, Bank book & Ledger.
Maintain daily payment voucher & course fee receipt voucher
Prepare Bank reconciliation statement monthly basis.
Prepare monthly, quarterly & Yearly Expenditure reports and submission to donors and head Office.
Prepare Receipt & payment Accounts, Income & expenditure Accounts and Balance sheet of the Project.
Maintain Stock register, Fixed Asset Register, Salary Register, Leave Register, TDS Register & Bill register.
TDS, GST & professional tax deducted and deposited.
Preparation of salary sheet and TA bills.
Provide support during internal audit and statutory audit of quarterly/ yearly conducted by internal/external agencies.
Maintain inward and outward letter register and coordinate logistic arrangement of meeting.
Prepare material requisition, collect quotation from different vendor for procurement, comparative Statement, purchase order, GRN for material receiving and issuing materials for procurement process.
Coordinate and Execute all travel arrangements for Staff and Visitors
Ensure timely data collection, compilation, reporting, analysis, generation of reports.
Multitasking office assignment etc.
