• Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Financial Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including daily sales, expenses, and inventory data.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Handle invoicing, payments, and collections. Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely payments and manage customer payments efficiently.
3. Financial Reporting: Generate regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to cafe management.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with cafe management to develop and monitor budgets. Assist in financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
5. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
6. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control and maintain accurate stock records. Assist in stock ordering and reconcile inventory levels regularly.
7. Payroll Processing: Coordinate with HR to accurately process employee payroll, ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws.
8. Financial Audits: Collaborate with external auditors during periodic financial audits and ensure all necessary documents and records are provided promptly.
• Requirements:

2. Proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry.
