Compensation: $27.00 per hour
Accountant
Overview: A well-established accounting services firm is seeking a dedicated accountant to join our team. We have been serving the tax and accounting needs of businesses and individuals since 1+75, preparing over 750 tax returns annually and offering year-round support to our clients. Accountant Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive accounting services
• Prepare and file tax returns accurately
• Utilize QuickBooks for general accounting tasks
• Transition to and use SurePrep tax software
• Offer year-round client support and advice
Accountant Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (online and desktop)
• 3-5 years of general accounting experience
• Demonstrated longevity in previous roles
Compensation and Benefits:
• 401(k) plan
• 30-minute paid lunch
• Business casual dress code
• Health Savings Account (HSA) through Missouri Chamber
• 2 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) that increases with tenure
• Early Fridays, typically ending at 3-3:30 PM
• Overtime opportunities during tax season
Monday-Friday in office
8am-5pm
$25-$27 per hour
