Description

We are seeking an Accountant to join our team in FORT WORTH, Texas. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will be handling various accounting and finance functions. This is a long-term contract opportunity that offers the chance to work with different accounting software systems and manage various accounting functions in a dynamic industry.

Responsibilities
• Oversee and administer purchase requisitions and timesheets.
• Maintain accurate records by reconciling the General Ledger accounts or accounts specific to assigned grants.
• Assist in the completion of financial reports and billing statements to funding agencies.
• Review requests for payments and execute as necessary.
• Aid in the preparation and adjustment of journal entries.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.
• Provide audit support and conduct variance analysis as required.
• Prepare and complete funding agency financial reports.
• Leverage your expertise in Microsoft Excel to perform financial modeling and data analysis.
• Use your strong mathematical and statistical knowledge to solve complex accounting problems.
• Manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
