We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, be proficient in accounting software, and have a solid understanding of financial principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and balance sheets
• Ensure accuracy of financial transactions by reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare tax returns and other compliance reports
• Participate in audits and provide support to auditors as needed
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
• Assist in budget planning and preparation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Stay up to date with accounting standards and regulations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Experience with tax preparation and compliance
