Key Responsibilities
Assist in formulating budgetary and accounting policies.
Prepare financial statements for boards of directors, management, shareholders, and statutory bodies.
Conduct financial investigations, prepare reports, and undertake audits.
Advise on business matters, including mergers, capital financing, business acquisitions, and taxation.
Examine operating costs, income, and expenditure to ensure financial efficiency.
Provide assurance on the accuracy of financial reports and compliance with statutory regulations.
Offer financial and taxation advice on business structures, strategic planning, and operations.
Prepare and lodge taxation returns for individuals and organizations.
Liaise with financial institutions and brokers to manage fund arrangements.
Implement and maintain accounting systems, advising on the best computer-based accounting solutions.
Maintain internal financial control systems.
Assess cash flow and financial risks for capital investment projects.
Requirements
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year in an accounting role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and auditing skills.
Ability to prepare detailed financial reports and taxation documents.
Strong proficiency in accounting software and systems.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
