Job Description:
We are seeking an Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a B.Com degree and good command over Excel. The candidate should be able to handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
• Prepare examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank statements.
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance manager.
• Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties as needed.
• Verify and reconcile account balances and transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Provide support for audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to audit inquiries.
Requirements:
• B.Com graduate with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Fresher to 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Good command over Excel and knowledge of accounting software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS will be an added advantage.
