Job Description
Indirect tax (GST) and compliance:
• GST - Registration, amendment and closure formalities
• Issuing of GST invoices, DC and other documents
• Generation of e-invoices
• Preparing and review of monthly ITC register and 2A reconciliation
• Computation of GST liability, payment, set off
• Preparation and review and filing of GST returns
• Accounting of GST related transactions like payment, ITC reversal, set off, refund etc
• Coordinating and preparing workpaper for GST Annual return and filings
• Preparing and filing of GST – ITC refund claims on regular basis
• Handling of GST audits, GST refund claims and tax notices and litigations
Preparation of financial statements & tax accounting and reporting
GL accounting as per Synopsys accounting policies/IGAAP
GL reconciliations and updating Blackline tool, statutory trackers etc
Co-ordinating, assisting or handling SAP enhancement requirement if any like Local ledger, India reports etc
Preparation of various reports to support management requirements
Prepares and review necessary schedules /disclosures /reports for statutory audit as per IGAAP
Assisting in Corporate tax and statutory compliance
Job Requirements
• 2+ yrs of experience in IT/ITES/service companies with working experience on SAP (FI) desirable.
• CA Intermediate / CS / CIMA/ Master Degree / B com
• Must have good interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills and ability to blend with team
• Requires ability to multi task, be detail-oriented and maintain confidentially of sensitive information
• Exposure to Indian accounting Standards, Income Tax Act and Companies Act
• Familiar with MS office especially with Excel, Word & Power Point
