Job Description
• Prepares and maintains accurate bookkeeping records for PDS Program and other programs as needed, including state and federally funded grants; prepares payroll; maintenance of employee files; performs other duties as required.
• Maintain separate general ledger chart of accounts for PDS.
• Codes invoices to proper related to invoices.
• Reconciles bank statements for programs other than PDS.
• Make Bank deposits as often as necessary.
• Assists public with phone inquiries.
• Draft general office correspondence, assist staff with day to day problems.
• Types and fills out miscellaneous forms, labels, etc; set up files.
• Prepares required records and reports.
• Check budget to expenditures on PDS program.
• Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
• BA degree in accounting supplemented by 2 years related work experience in related field.
• preferably in a not -for-profit organization; additional work experience may be substituted for education requirements on a year for year basis up to a maximum of two years.
