VastraAnanta is a leading women's ethnic wear manufacturer in Jaipur, India. We specialize in creating a diverse range of exquisite ethnic dresses, focusing on exports to international markets. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. As we continue to grow, we seek a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team and manage our financial operations, where the Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, possess strong analytical skills, and be able to handle complex financial tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Transactions: Record and maintain accurate financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments & make sure all financial transactions are properly documented and classified.
• Accounts Payable Receivable: Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments, handle accounts receivable, including generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are addressed.
• Payroll Processing: Process payroll, including calculating wages, withholding taxes, and ensuring timely disbursement of salaries.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and provide insights and analysis on financial performance and trends.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines & coordinate with external auditors and prepare necessary documentation for audits.
• Taxation: Manage and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate valuation and accounting for inventory.
• Financial Systems: Maintain and enhance financial systems and software to streamline accounting processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing or fashion industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
