One of our client which is into Jewellery Manufacturing is looking for :
Accountant
Location : Mumbai
Job Profile :
Working for Jewellery industry is must.
1. Preparation and maintenance of books of accounts of the firms:
a. Recording of purchases, sales, JVs on regular basis.
b. Regular reconciliation of bank accounts
c. Balance reconciliation with creditors/debtors
d. Debtors/Creditors ageing.
e. Preparation of monthly MIS reports – Detailed requirement to be communicated at the
time of interview.
f. Preparation of data for TDS return, Income Tax returns, GST returns or any other statutory
compliance as applicable.
g. Ensure timely filing of the above returns
h. Provide the requisite data and information to the Income Tax / GST Auditors.
i. Maintaining the stock records and all other records and documents as required under the
Income Tax Law or GST Law.
j. Keeping a track on the performance of the brokers for the purpose of calculating their
brokerage and year end incentives.
k. Preparation of the payroll register and disbursal of salaries.
l. Any other work not mentioned above but which is related to preparation and maintenance
of books of accounts.
2. Preparing and maintaining the books of accounts of the proprietors/partners/other family
members and ensuring the timely compliances of all the statutory compliances such as
Income Tax Return filing with the consultant.
3. All bank related work
4. Handling Petty Cash and reporting thereon on weekly/monthly basis.
Educational Qualification : Minimum Graduate.
Experience Requirement – Minimum 5 Years from Jewellery Industry
Reporting Authority – Organization Head
Salary : Negotiable.
