Job Title: Senior Accountant – Jewellery Industry
Location: Surat | Experience: 3+ Years | Industry: Gold & Diamond Jewellery

With an extensive network in diamond and gold jewellery, Zweler continues to build excellence in operations, business growth, and customer service. We are now looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team. Candidates with prior experience in the jewellery industry will be preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Inventory & Cost Management:
• Oversee inventory accounting for gold and diamond jewellery.
• Assist in cost analysis and pricing strategies.
Taxation & Compliance:
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
• Manage vendor and customer accounts, payment cycles, and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
System & Process Improvements:
• Assist in streamlining accounting procedures and implementing best practices.
• Familiarity with accounting software (Tally/ERP systems preferred).
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 years in the jewellery industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other financial regulations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting (CA Inter or equivalent certification preferred)
