Mid-Level Accountant
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years in the accounting domain.
• Hands-on experience with GST & TDS return filing is mandatory.
• Immediate joiner preferred.
Qualification:
• Graduate (preferably B.Com).
Required Skills:
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• General Ledger Management:
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Responsibilities:
• Tally:
• Handle complete accounting, including purchase, sales, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience with stock in Tally is a plus.
• Book GST and TDS, including RCM on GST.
• E-way bill creation and E-invoice creation are advantageous.
• Knowledge of cost centers is beneficial.
• GST:
• Basic understanding of GST.
• Experience in preparing and filing GSTR-1 & 3B.
• Familiarity with the ITC utilization process.
• GSTR-2A reconciliation experience.
• Experience with GSTR-+ & +C is a plus.
• TDS:
• Knowledge of TDS rates and preparation of TDS workings.
• Experience in filing TDS returns.
• Excel:
• Proficient in basic Excel functions and formulas.
• Experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUP is a plus.
General Requirements:
• No significant employment gaps where GST or TDS compliances were not handled.
• Good communication skills and the ability to understand and apply accounting principles.
• Experience with clients or companies having a turnover of ₹5-10 crore is a plus
