About the Internship:
We are looking for a Junior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, good knowledge of Excel and Tally, bookkeeping activities, reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures.
Key responsibilities:
1. Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
2. Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
3. Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
4. Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
5. Complete assigned projects within engagement timelines and budget guidelines
6. Help ensure that the information stream from the organization to the audit team is well-organized and efficient
7. Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned
8. Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
+. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
10. Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
11. Assist with other accounting projects
Skills and Requirements:
1. Tally software proficiently
2. TDS and GST calculation and data preparation for timely filing of return
3. Balance sheet preparation, P & L account
4. Payment and stock reconciliation
5. Know how to deal with the auditor
6. Good typing speed and being aware of Excel formulas
7. Export knowledge will be added advantage
8. Hands-on experience in using Tally software

10. 0-2 years of experience in accounting
11. Hands-on experience in using Tally software
12. Proficiency in MS Excel
13. Computer savvy
14. Excellent analytical skills
15. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
16. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
17. Ability to travel to bank locations as needed
18. Willingness to learn new things
1. Those who are from or open to relocate to Ahmedabad
